What is Dry Eye Disease?
Dry Eye Disease (DED) is a common eye concern that occurs when your tears don’t produce enough moisture or lubrication for your eyes. This happens for various reasons, including decreased tear production, damage to the surface of your eyes, poor-quality tears, hormonal changes, autoimmune disease, allergies, and more. It can also be caused by certain medications and environmental conditions like being exposed to smoke or staring at your computer for long periods of time.
Symptoms of Dry Eye Disease:
- Eye redness
- Itching, burning, or stinging sensations in eyes
- Blurred vision
- Light sensitivity
- Very watery eyes (your body’s response to DED)

Dry Eye Disease Treatment
We want you to feel comfortable and see clearly, that’s why we opened our state of the art Dry Eye Clinics at both our Andover and Winfield locations.
Our doctors will first perform a thorough exam and testing to identify any possible eye conditions or diseases and check for signs of damage to your eyes that may be causing the symptoms you’re experiencing.
After an assessment, they will develop a personalized treatment plan to address your Dry Eye Disease.
Treatment Options
Regener-Eyes®
Regener-Eyes is a sterile, preservative-free biologic eye drop for patients with ocular surface disease, including blepharitis, dry eye disease, recurrent corneal erosions, Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), keratitis, and neurotrophic pain. This drop has unique proteins such as anti-inflammatory cytokines, chemokines for healing properties, growth factors for regenerative potential, and hyaluronic acid for high-level lubrication.
Oculus Keratograph Meibography
The Oculus Keratograph Meibography is an advanced corneal topographer with a built-in real keratometer and color camera for external imaging. Its unique features for dry eye include examining the Meibomian glands, non-invasive tear film break-up time, tear meniscus height measurement, and evaluating the lipid layer.
